Departure point is from the Pier on a private first class vehicle together with a local authorized guide.
This excursion will show you the finest of the Danish countryside and history. We drive through beautiful forest north of Copenhagen to Hilleroed to visit the splendid Frederiksborg Castle, built in Renaissance style by King Christian IV in 1625.
We then proceed to Fredensborg for a photo stop, the royal summer residence, built in 18th century Italian style and superbly situated amidst a magnificent park. Following on, a break will take place for lunch. After lunch we stop at Kronborg Castle, the fabulous backdrop of Shakespeare's play "Hamlet" and recently listed on the UNESCO World heritage list. The castle was erected between 1574 and 1585 and offers a breathtaking view of the Sound, the stretch of water lying between Denmark and Sweden. We will walk into the court yard to enjoy the great construction.
Then we return to Copenhagen along the coastal road, also known as the "Danish Riviera" where stylish houses and mansions will be seen.
Note: Lunch is not included.
