Enjoy a tour through old and new Amsterdam! See historical landmarks such as the Royal Palace, the Mint Tower, and the Skinny Bridge among other famous monuments. The city is known for its tree-shaded canals, friendly multilingual people, bubbling nightlife and sophisticated shopping. During the city tour you will visit the world famous Rijksmuseum. The Rijksmuseum, houses one of the world’s greatest art collections. Among the highlights are the Dutch paintings from the Golden Age: works by Rembrandt van Rijn, Vermeer and artists as Frans Hals and Jan Steen. The absolute highlight is of course Rembrandts Night Watch. The museum also has superb collections of paintings from the 16th until 19th centuries, photographs, sculpture and Asiatic art. It is hardly surprising that the Rijksmuseum is known in Holland as The National Treasure House.
